hearts and bones is the collaborative work of friends stephanie sersich and michele goldstein. our collaborations began with 'a pirate's valentine' (as seen in the sketch to the left). the thought of combining hearts & bones had long been on my mind (also a fan of the paul simon song), when steph asked if we could create such a piece to demonstrate combining different motifs. alas, "a pirate's valentine" was born. we were so pleased with the end result and the amount of fun we had working together. we created a small collection of works that we took to the bead and button show in june 2006. our pieces were well received and we have decided to continue our collaborative journey. more works will be presented as they are completed. click here to view pieces that are currently available for purchase. click here to view pieces that are now in private collectons. peace, meesh & steph
